I was fortunate enough to MC the event as the Board Chair for Kids With Food Allergies Foundation (KFA). KFA gave Representative Thomas Murt, a food allergy advocate, a special certificate of appreciation for his tireless policy work on behalf of food allergic children and their families in Pennsylvania. Representative Murt is a co-sponsor of PA Bill 2067 which will allow undesignated epinephrine in all schools in Pennsylvania.
All of the children and their parents had a fabulous time, as you can tell by their bright, smiling faces, and their dance moves to the music of Kyle Dine (www.kyledine.com) .One of the many highlights was Captain Jack and his crew of Food Allergy Pirates. (www.peanutfreepirates.com).
Many thanks to KFA’s CEO, Lynda Mitchell, the staff including Wendy Rees, Michele Cassalia, our very intelligent, talented and devoted board members, volunteers and tireless fundraisers – you rock! A special thanks to our very dedicated sponsors and vendors (listed below) .
